WooCommerce → Store.Fan
Move your WooCommerce products across
WooCommerce already lets other tools read your product list — it's how your own shop pages load. So there's no plugin to install and nothing to set up in WordPress: paste your site address and your products appear, ready to review.
How it goes, step by step
- 1In Store.Fan, open Products → Import products.
- 2Paste your site address — the WordPress root, not the shop page.
- 3Press Scan store. Your products come back with photos, prices and descriptions.
- 4Review, edit and untick as you like.
- 5Import. Photos are copied across with the products.
What comes across
- Product name, description and price
- Regular price when an item is on sale, shown as a strikethrough
- The featured image
- Your store's currency
- A link back to the original product page
What doesn't
- Variations — a variable product arrives as one item
- Only the featured image, not the whole gallery
- Stock levels, categories, attributes and shipping classes
- Private, draft or password-protected products — those aren't public, so we can't see them either
Better to read this now than discover it after the import. Anything missing can be filled in on the product afterwards.
WooCommerce questions
Do the photos come across?
Yes — the main photo of each listing is copied into your own storage, not hotlinked from the old shop. That matters: a hotlinked catalog breaks the day you close the store you left. One image per product; if your listing had several angles, pick the best one on the review screen or swap it afterwards.
Do I need to install anything in WordPress?
No. It works with a standard WooCommerce setup out of the box. If your host or a security plugin is strict and the scan comes back empty, export instead — WooCommerce → Products → Export → CSV — and use the CSV tab.
Prices came in wrong — why?
They shouldn't be — WooCommerce reports prices in a format that's easy to misread by a factor of a hundred, and we handle that conversion properly. Every price is shown on the review screen before anything is created, so if one still looks wrong, fix it right there and let us know.
Do I have to close my WooCommerce shop first?
No. Nothing on WooCommerce is touched — we only read your listings. Keep selling there while you set Store.Fan up, and close it whenever you're ready, or never.
Will running it twice create duplicates?
No. Anything already on your Store.Fan account comes back marked “Already on your store” and unticked, so a second pass only brings across what's new.
What does it cost?
Importing is free and unlimited. Selling needs a paid plan — Starter $24/mo or Pro $49/mo, both with a 14-day free trial — and Store.Fan takes 0% of your sales on paid plans. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
Coming from somewhere else?
Not on the list? Paste it anyway — we read the listing data a page publishes for search engines, and when there isn't any, the catalog inside the page's own code. That covers hand-built sites and Stripe-checkout shops. How switching works.
Your WooCommerce catalog, on your own link
0% platform fee on paid plans, payments straight into your own Stripe. Keep selling on WooCommerce while you try it — nothing publishes until you say so.
