Move your Shopify catalog across

Shopify shops let other tools read their product list, which means this one is about as easy as it gets: paste your address and your catalog appears, ready to review. Nothing to install, no app to connect, no password to share.

Start the import🔗 Paste your store address

How it goes, step by step

  1. 1In Store.Fan, open Products → Import products.
  2. 2Paste your shop address — yourshop.myshopify.com or your own domain, both work.
  3. 3Press Scan store. We read your catalog and show every listing with its photo, price and description.
  4. 4Untick anything you don't want, fix any title or price inline, and choose how each one behaves here.
  5. 5Import. Photos are copied into your storage as they go.

What comes across

  • Title, description and price
  • Compare-at price, so your sale strikethrough survives
  • The listing's main photo
  • Your shop's currency, read from Shopify's own settings
  • A link back to the original listing, kept on the product

What doesn't

  • Variants — a shirt in six sizes arrives as one product, not six
  • Only the first image of each listing
  • Inventory counts, collections, tags and metafields
  • Customers and past orders (bring those in from Customers → Import)

Better to read this now than discover it after the import. Anything missing can be filled in on the product afterwards.

Shopify questions

Do the photos come across?

Yes — the main photo of each listing is copied into your own storage, not hotlinked from the old shop. That matters: a hotlinked catalog breaks the day you close the store you left. One image per product; if your listing had several angles, pick the best one on the review screen or swap it afterwards.

My Shopify store is on a custom domain — does that work?

Yes. The feed lives on whatever domain your storefront answers on, so yourbrand.com works exactly like yourshop.myshopify.com.

Nothing was found — what now?

Usually that means the shop is password-protected or not published yet, or your host is blocking outside requests. There's a second route that always works: in Shopify go to Products → Export → CSV, then use the CSV tab in the importer. We know Shopify's export format, including the way it repeats a row per variant — those fold back into one product each.

Do I have to close my Shopify shop first?

No. Nothing on Shopify is touched — we only read your listings. Keep selling there while you set Store.Fan up, and close it whenever you're ready, or never.

Will running it twice create duplicates?

No. Anything already on your Store.Fan account comes back marked “Already on your store” and unticked, so a second pass only brings across what's new.

What does it cost?

Importing is free and unlimited. Selling needs a paid plan — Starter $24/mo or Pro $49/mo, both with a 14-day free trial — and Store.Fan takes 0% of your sales on paid plans. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account.

Coming from somewhere else?

Not on the list? Paste it anyway — we read the listing data a page publishes for search engines, and when there isn't any, the catalog inside the page's own code. That covers hand-built sites and Stripe-checkout shops. How switching works.
