8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Request restriction or limitation of certain processing;
  • Request portability of your information;
  • Object to certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Opt out of certain marketing communications;
  • Opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities where applicable law provides such rights.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may also deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including where fulfilling it would affect the rights of others, interfere with legal obligations, impair security, prevent fraud detection, or conflict with recordkeeping requirements.

If your request relates to information held or used independently by a Creator or Seller, you may also need to contact that Creator or Seller directly.

9. Marketing Choices

You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us at [email protected]. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive transactional, administrative, security, billing, purchase, support, or legal communications.

Where required, Store.Fan may provide a cookie banner, preference center, or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. Please note that some Platform features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

Affiliate program attribution

Store.Fan operates an affiliate program. When you arrive on a Store.Fan marketing page through an affiliate link or a URL containing an affiliate code (for example ?ref=, ?aff=, ?via=, a join.store.fan link, or a store.fan/a/ short link), we set a first-party cookie named sf_ref that stores the affiliate code for up to 30 days so that, if you later create an account, the referral can be credited. This cookie is not set on creator storefronts and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

To measure affiliate performance and prevent fraud, we also record affiliate link clicks with the code used, the page visited, a truncated one-way hash derived from network and browser information (we do not store the raw IP address in these click records), and a timestamp. If you install and open the Store.Fan app shortly after clicking an affiliate link, we may match the click to the install using a hashed network identifier for up to 48 hours, so the referral is credited. If you sign up through an affiliate link, the code you used is stored with your account so the referral source can be reported to the affiliate in aggregate. Affiliates never receive your name, email address, or other direct identifiers from us — only counts and amounts.

When a member activates the affiliate program, we keep a record of their acceptance of the Affiliate Program Terms, including the terms version, date and time, a hashed network identifier, and browser information, as evidence of the agreement and for fraud prevention. See the Affiliate Program Terms at store.fan/affiliate-terms for full program rules.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, maintain accounts, process transactions, support Creators and Customers, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and operate our business.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose of processing, legal requirements, account status, transaction history, dispute history, and business needs. Creators and Sellers may maintain their own copies of customer information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

12. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no internet, email, payment, hosting, or data storage system is completely secure. You use the Platform at your own risk and are responsible for protecting your account credentials. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

13. Children’s Privacy

Store.Fan is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information through the Platform, contact us at [email protected], and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information where required. Creators and Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products, content, and storefronts comply with applicable age-related laws and restrictions.

14. International Users

Store.Fan is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your personal information may be processed, stored, and transferred in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

16. Google API Services and Google Calendar Data

Store.Fan offers an optional integration that lets Creators connect their Google account so that appointments booked through their storefront are synchronized with Google Calendar. This section describes how we access, use, store, and share Google user data obtained through Google API Services.

A. What We Access

  • Calendar events (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events): used solely to create a calendar event — including an automatically generated Google Meet link — when a customer books a call with the Creator, to update or remove that event if the appointment is canceled, and to display the Creator's upcoming events in their own dashboard calendar;
  • Free/busy information (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy): used solely to determine which time slots are already occupied on the Creator's calendar so those times are not offered to customers as bookable;
  • Basic account information (email address): used solely to show the Creator which Google account is connected.

B. How We Use and Protect Google User Data

Google user data is used only to provide the calendar features described above, which are user-facing features visible to and requested by the Creator. We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics; we do not sell Google user data; we do not allow humans to read this data except with the Creator's explicit consent, where necessary for security or to comply with law; and we do not use or transfer Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest on our infrastructure and are accessible only to the server-side components that provide the calendar features. We retain Google user data only while the integration remains connected. Creators can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from their dashboard Settings — doing so deletes our stored tokens and revokes Store.Fan's access with Google — or revoke access directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

C. Limited Use Disclosure

Store.Fan's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The policy is available at https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.

17. Creator and Seller Compliance

Creators and Sellers using Store.Fan are responsible for complying with all privacy, consumer protection, marketing, advertising, data protection, intellectual property, tax, and industry-specific laws that apply to their business and products. Creators and Sellers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate privacy disclosures to their customers where required;
  • Using customer information lawfully;
  • Obtaining required marketing consents;
  • Honoring unsubscribe requests;
  • Responding to customer privacy requests where applicable;
  • Protecting customer information they export, download, copy, or process outside Store.Fan;
  • Ensuring their products, services, and communications comply with applicable law.

Store.Fan may suspend or terminate a Creator or Seller account if we believe the Creator or Seller is misusing personal information, violating privacy laws, violating Platform policies, or creating legal, security, or reputational risk.

18. California and U.S. State Privacy Notice

Depending on your U.S. state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights. The categories of personal information we may collect include:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, phone number, IP address, account ID, and billing information;
  • Commercial information, such as products viewed, purchases, order history, and transaction details;
  • Internet or electronic network activity, such as browsing activity, clicks, page views, device information, and usage logs;
  • Geolocation information, such as approximate location derived from IP address;
  • Professional or business information, for Creators and Sellers;
  • Payment-related information processed by payment providers;
  • Inferences or analytics derived from Platform activity;
  • Communications and support information.

We may use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. However, some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly, and certain advertising or analytics activities may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under those laws.

Where applicable, you may opt out by using the available privacy controls, cookie settings, or by contacting us at [email protected].

19. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions
