Gumroad → Store.Fan

Bring your Gumroad products across

The pitch here is simple arithmetic: Gumroad takes 10% plus 50¢ of every sale. Store.Fan takes 0% (on paid plans) and the money lands in your own Stripe account. Bring the products over with a CSV and the maths changes on your next sale.

Start the import📄 Drop in the CSV they export

How it goes, step by step

  1. 1In Gumroad, export your products as a CSV from the Products area.
  2. 2In Store.Fan, open Products → Import products and switch to the CSV tab.
  3. 3Choose the file. Name, price, description and link are matched by meaning.
  4. 4On the review screen, leave your digital items as Digital product.
  5. 5Import, then open each one and upload the file buyers receive.

What comes across

  • Product name and description
  • Price and currency
  • A link back to the original Gumroad page
  • Image URLs, when your export carries them

What doesn't

  • The files themselves — upload those to the imported product afterwards
  • Customers, subscriptions and sales history
  • Variants, tiers and pay-what-you-want settings

Better to read this now than discover it after the import. Anything missing can be filled in on the product afterwards.

Gumroad questions

Do my actual files come across?

No — an export lists your products, not their contents. The import rebuilds each listing (title, price, description, cover) and you upload the deliverable to it afterwards. Files up to 2GB, delivered instantly to buyers.

Do the photos come across?

Yes — the main photo of each listing is copied into your own storage, not hotlinked from the old shop. That matters: a hotlinked catalog breaks the day you close the store you left. One image per product; if your listing had several angles, pick the best one on the review screen or swap it afterwards.

How much do I actually save?

Gumroad's standard fee is 10% + 50¢ per sale. On a $29 product that's about $3.40 a sale, so around $340 for every hundred sales. Store.Fan charges a flat monthly plan and takes 0% of your sales — Stripe's own processing fee applies either way, on both platforms.

Do I have to close my Gumroad shop first?

No. Nothing on Gumroad is touched — we only read your listings. Keep selling there while you set Store.Fan up, and close it whenever you're ready, or never.

Will running it twice create duplicates?

No. Anything already on your Store.Fan account comes back marked “Already on your store” and unticked, so a second pass only brings across what's new.

What does it cost?

Importing is free and unlimited. Selling needs a paid plan — Starter $24/mo or Pro $49/mo, both with a 14-day free trial — and Store.Fan takes 0% of your sales on paid plans. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account.

Coming from somewhere else?

Not on the list? Paste it anyway — we read the listing data a page publishes for search engines, and when there isn't any, the catalog inside the page's own code. That covers hand-built sites and Stripe-checkout shops. How switching works.
