Good questions
›What if my export has a strange layout?
It almost certainly still works. We handle commas, semicolons and tabs, quoted fields, missing header rows and addresses pasted out of an email. If a column contains email addresses, we find it — and the import summary tells you exactly what was read, skipped and deduplicated.
›Can I import any list I have?
Only lists where those people actually agreed to hear from you — you confirm that explicitly before importing. Purchased or scraped lists generate spam complaints that damage email delivery for every creator on Store.Fan, so they can get an account suspended.
›Are there size limits?
Per import: 500 contacts on Free, 5,000 on Starter, 25,000 on Pro. Bigger lists go in batches. Imported contacts are tagged separately from people who used your signup form.
›Is exporting really free?
Yes, on every plan including Free. Lead capture is free too, so a free account can collect a list, see it and take it with them. Emailing that list from your store is what needs Pro.
