I'm Hana, a former 2nd-grade teacher turned homeschool mom of three in Portland, Oregon. For the last 9 years I've helped over 40,000 families swap curriculum overwhelm for hands-on, joy-filled days - the kind of learning kids actually beg for.

🍁

Fall is here and the complete Autumn Unit Study Bundle just dropped - apples, falling leaves, and bird migration, with three full weeks of hands-on plans, printables, and projects in one download. It is 30% off through Sunday at midnight PT, then it goes back to full price. Grab it before the craft table gets busy!

Why I traded my classroom for a craft table

After eight years teaching second grade, I watched too many curious five-year-olds lose their spark to worksheets and testing. When my own kids came along, I knew I wanted something different for them - and for the families I coach. So we built a homeschool around the way children actually learn: with their hands, their questions, and a whole lot of colored paper. Everything here comes from real days at my own kitchen table in Portland, tested with my three kids and refined with the 40,000 families who have used these resources. My mission is simple: to make learning at home feel less like a second job and more like the best part of your day. No perfection required - just curiosity, a few good books, and the willingness to make a joyful mess.

What homeschool families are saying

“I went from dreading Mondays to having my kids ask if we can 'do school' on the weekend. The unit study toolkit gave me a repeatable system I actually stick to.”

Marisol Reyes · Homeschooling 3 kids, ages 5-10

“My son was a reluctant reader in tears every day. Two weeks of the print-and-play phonics games and he read a whole book to me on his own. I cried the good kind of tears.”

Danielle Okafor · Mom and first-year homeschooler

“The Planning Power Hour was worth ten times the price. Hana untangled my whole approach in an hour and I finally stopped buying curriculum I never use.”

Priya Nair · Homeschooling twins in 3rd grade

Questions before you dive in

What ages are your resources for?+

Most of my printables, unit studies, and games are designed for ages 4 to 11 (preschool through upper elementary), with easy ways to level activities up or down for mixed-age families. The Confident Homeschool Foundations course works for parents of children of any age, since it is about building your approach.

I'm brand new to homeschooling and totally overwhelmed. Where do I start?+

Start with the free Kitchen Science Lab to get an easy win this week, then take the Confident Homeschool Foundations course - it walks you step by step through deschooling, finding your rhythm, and choosing curriculum without wasting money. If you want personal help, book a Planning Power Hour and we will map it out together.

Do I need to be crafty or 'good at teaching' to use these?+

Not at all. Every resource is written for real parents, not teachers, with plain 'what to do' steps and the 'why it works' so you can answer questions confidently. If you can read a recipe and make a little mess, you can do this. The whole point is to make it doable on ordinary, busy days.

How do I get my digital products and printables?+

Everything is an instant download. The moment you check out, you will get an email link to your PDF, which you can print at home as many times as you like for your own family. Files work on any phone, tablet, or computer with no special software. Reach out anytime if you have trouble finding your download.
