Eleven years ago I planned my first wedding out of a tiny Charleston apartment with a binder and a lot of nerve. Since then I've coordinated more than 300 celebrations - garden elopements, downtown ballrooms, three-day destination weekends - and I've learned that the difference between a stressful wedding and a joyful one is almost never the budget. It's the system. My whole approach comes down to one idea: when everyone knows exactly what happens next, everyone relaxes - including you.
